Kiwifruit Slushie

The other day it came to my attention thanks to a concerned viewer that I use a lot of bananas in my recipes, making it difficult for people with bananaphobia (it's a real thing! Check it here if ya don't believe me!) to try out the posted breakfasts. So, today's post is completely banana free! It's also peanut butter free... I'm really not sure how I managed to accomplish both these things... I did however have a piece of toast with my newly homemade nutella with this slushie! I had reason! It's really not a complete breakfast in itself, it's just fruit and veges really so I wanted/needed some protein too.

I originally set out to make a smoothie, but this isn't a smoothie at all. My son ate his with a spoon it was so thick so I've called it a slushie... probably not the kind you'd get at the Kwikemart but nonetheless that's the name it has been assigned!

Kiwifruit Slushie
(this will make one large slushie or two small)

2 kiwifruit, chopped
About 4 inches of cucumber (inches Loral?! 10cm in Kiwi speak)
1 apple, peeled and chopped. (I always eat the peel after I've chopped it off...)
A smidge of honey (I used about ½ a tsp)
A handful of baby spinach

Chop up all the fruit and put it in a blender/food processor.

Drink it!

Don't get lost in the complicated nature of this recipe now.... ;)
