Maple Walnut Overnight Oats

So, of course there must be more delicious ways I can enjoy overnight oats…. What are other great pairings of food? Chocolate peanut butter, mint and chocolate….. maple and walnut… sounds good!

I’m just going to type out the recipe and not talk about them anymore because it’s just after 2 on a rainy day and I’m getting hungry just thinking about these…. (Would overnight oats for dinner be odd?!)

Maple Walnut Overnight Oats

1/3 cup Rolled Oats

1 cup Trim Milk

1.5 Tbsp Chia Seeds

1 scoop of Protein powder (you can take this out, make it whatever flavor you like, I just put it in here to thicken it up and add the extra protein)

1 small Banana or half a large one

1 tbsp Walnuts

1 Tbsp Sultanas

1 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup

Night before (as always with overnight oats.. come on, they’re OVERNIGHT oats), mash your banana and add oats, milk, protein powder, chia, walnuts and sultanas. Mix well and refrigerate.

In the morning add maple syrup and more walnuts/sultanas if you like.
